Why are we involved in missions?
We want to be rooted in Jesus, growing with God's family, and branching out to serve.
We "Branch Out" to serve our community, schools, and neighbors and sharing the Good News of life in Jesus. This includes sending out Christ-followers to start new Growth Groups, churches, and as missionaries throughout the Yakima Valley and the world.
Terrace Heights Baptist Church strongly believes in the importance of missions. We are always seeking opportunities to serve our community or our world through missions. If you are interested in being involved with missions, please contact the church for more information.

Past mission trips:
February 1-11, 2014 we sent some of our church members to Peru on a mission trip to serve Peruvian families and children as local pastors were trained to share the gospel. In 2011 we sent 6 people to Malawi Africa to spend 2 weeks serving alongside our partners Chad and Miriam Pumpelly. They faced many obstacles while there but God did some amazing work in the lives of those in Africa as well as in the life of the mission team. In 2010 the mission team went to Tijuana Mexico. Their goal there was to support and strengthen the small groups that were previously set up and to share the Gospel with others. They also went on prayer walks in new neighborhoods trying to establish new home groups. God continues to grow these home groups!
